Work your passion, Slay your purpose
Last week, I was having a REALLY rough week. It’s getting harder and harder to work at a place where you feel unappreciated, undervalued, and just plain burnt out. I know I can’t quit because I have a mortgage and children, but what I can do is plan my exit strategy. Instead of making my passion the side hustle I started working it like the full-time gig and it felt good!
I had my aha moment, I just really looked at what I was doing and said “When am I going to stop hustling for everyone else’s dreams and start living mine?
My dream has always been to work in the communications field. I’ve worked in radio, television, and print media. But you know what the success started coming and I got scared and self-sabotage kicked in! (That’s a post for another day)
Now, I’m all about building my brands Jocelyn Noelle and The J Agency Communications Group so I can live this dream full-time.
The next time someone asks me who am I and what do I do my response will be, Hello my name is Jocelyn Noelle, and I teach small business owners and entrepreneurs how to use their purpose to leverage media coverage to build their brand.
